Operation of Automatic Rotary Volumetric Dry Syrup Filling with Pick & Place Type Screw Capping/ROPP Capping Machine

Filling process:

The basic concept of this machine to create the vacuum in the powder wheel pot and suck the powder from the hopper. The hopper has agitator to feed the powder uniformly into the powder wheel pot and hold the powder up to down level and during the down level. There is a sensor is provided to give the command for releasing the powder. If there is no bottle, sensor will not give any command and vacuum will hold the power to prevent the spillage of the powder. This called No Bottle No Fill system.

During the filling process, hopper filled with the powder and powder wheel has 8 Nos. of cavity. The depth of the cavity is adjustable through piston as per required fill volume.

In the process of filling, empty bottle is conveyed from the Conveyor to feed worm, feed worm to in feed star wheel. In feed star wheel puts the empty bottle on the plunger and plunger is so designed to lift the empty bottles towards the Funnel. At the same time bottle neck enters into the funnel cup and prevent spillage of powder. The whole attachment is located on the funnel plate.

In basic design of the machine, powder is to be filled through a Powder Wheel which is located on the head and head of the powder wheel is mounted on the center of the funnel plate. Hopper is located align with the Powder wheel on the head of the machine.

Pick and Place type Screw Capping process:

In the Pick & Place System Bowl feeder is feed the cap in the chute , Chute feed the cap into the star wheel where cap is to be transferred on the pick point where the capping head is to pick the cap form pick point and put the cap on the bottle and rotate the cap for screwing. In the capping head Torque adjustment provision is to be given to prevent damage of the bottle and cap.
